About MTV™

Launched in 1981, MTV is an American network based in New York City that has had a profound impact on the music industry and popular culture for almost 30 years.

MTV presents a wide variety of music and non-music-related television shows aimed primarily at the 12 to 18 year old demographic. MTV's influence on young people has been evident for years. The network continues to be the premier source of trends, fashions as well as information on present social issues.

Beavis and Butt-Head

An animated comedy show which centers on two socially awkward, rock/metal-loving teenage delinquents. Beavis and Butt-Head are dim-witted, barely literate, lack any empathy or moral scruples and are hilariously entertaining to teens, young adults and die-hard fans.

"Beavis & Butt-Head" originally aired from 1993 to 1997 on MTV. Even after the series finale, the show retained a cult following and reruns were shown on syndicated channels including Comedy Central.

"Beavis & Butt-Head" the second highest watched series behind "Jersey Shore" on MTV.
